Some custom built Tau marker drones, currently they are just blu tacked to those horrible gw flying stems, eventually i will put them onto scenic bases like my gun drones are. its quite a simple conversion, if you can even call it that, but i think they look good

Some Possible Alternative Battlesuit Heads
Posted August 23rd, 2007 in Tau, Warhammer 40 and 00I found these on some cheap “Medabots” anime robot toys, I picked out some that looked a little tauish and put them onto a part built tau battlesuit body with some clay as I need opinions on what ones actually look good on there. my favourite has to be the last one (the one with the big horn) as it somehow looks like a big sensor or something to me.
First Fire Warrior Squad WIP
Posted August 22nd, 2007 in Tau, Warhammer 40 and 00This is some WIP pictures of my first fire warrior squad, I have decided to make a third of my fire warriors (4 in every 12 man unit) other races. my rational is that as the empire is expanding and the tau being communist space Russians let anyone join their empire and must be taking in lots of non Tau. my real reason for building them though is that just building them “as is” was boring me to death…
