This is an updated version of my XV88-3, I have taken into account some suggestions I received on forums and removed the spacers on the SMS pods. i have also cleaned up the putty work on the body.

I have not posted much recently due to not being able to work on much because of real life getting in the way really (sucks, yeah), and due to suffering something of a crisis of confidence.  although hopefully I should post some more updates soon

This is the first draft of the rules for my new super heavy gunship. I don’t have a clue if they are balanced or not and knowing me they will need to be toned down, although I have used VDR mostly.

This is a project I started quite some time ago, a little while after the first tau codex came out. I have decided to resurrect this project in light of the impending release of apocalypse. the chassis and ion turret have not been modified since I started this project originally, the railgun turret is something i have recently put together when i first took the decision to resurrect the project.   This is very much work in progress, it is not even anywhere near the size it will be when it is finished, it will hopefully be at least as big as a baneblade when completed.  I hope I can keep you all frequently updated with more WIP shots of this

Some custom built Tau marker drones, currently they are just blu tacked to those horrible gw flying stems, eventually i will put them onto scenic bases like my gun drones are.  its quite a simple conversion, if you can even call it that, but i think they look good

Finished the ratman and human fire warriors completely now, I am not entirely satisfied with how the green stuff cast antennas came out, but its sure beats buying fire warriors just for antennas

I found these on some cheap “Medabots” anime robot toys,  I picked out some that looked a little tauish and put them onto a part built tau battlesuit body with some clay as I need opinions on what ones actually look good on there.  my favourite has to be the last one (the one with the big horn) as it somehow looks like a big sensor or something to me.

This is some WIP pictures of my first fire warrior squad, I have decided to make a third of my fire warriors (4 in every 12 man unit) other races. my rational is that as the empire is expanding and the tau being communist space Russians let anyone join their empire and must be taking in lots of non Tau. my real reason for building them though is that just building them “as is” was boring me to death…
